A short drive along the Malecon takes us to Fort San Felipe, 16th-century structure essential to Puerto Plata’s defense, offering an outstanding view of the harbor. Watching this historic site from outside offers an outstanding view of the Puerto Plata Harbor. You will quickly notice why it was an essential part of Puerto Plata’s defense system. Next, we head to the Adventure Park, surrounded by the lush tropical landscape.
