Drive your own Dune Buggy through the sugar cane fields, up to the mountains and down to the beach. With all the instruction and equipment included, even beginners can learn how to drive a dune buggy. After being collected from the outside of Amber Cove Port, you will be taken to the tour starting point which is just 35 minutes away. Enjoy amazing scenery, muddy paths and a picturesque beach. Please remember to wear clothes that you don't care about, sunglasses/goggles and bandana for mud and dust.
Itinerary
You will get pick up from the outside of the main gate of the terminal entrance by the high way.
20 minWe pick you up from the front gate of Taino Bay
15 minReal Location: Playa Bergantin, A stop with the Buggy at Playa Bergantin, where you have an opportunity to go for a swim.
20 minFrom Montellano there is a 40 min drive back to Amber Cove.
40 minReal Location: Montellano, Puerto Plata Province. Here is where the tour starts. After a short briefing, your memorable off road adventure will start. No License and no special skill are required. All Buggies are safe and easy to drive. This is a half day full of fun for those looking for a tour to see the natural beauty of Dominican Republic. Please remember to wear clothes that you are willing to throw away and sunglasses, as the road can be dusty, muddy and wet.
